Research proves that corporations, executives and general counsel turn to the Web to find lawyers and law firms. In fact, 85% of executives consider firm websites important sources of information in their search for attorneys. Yet you have only 8 to 10 seconds to capture a visitor’s interest before they hit the “back” button to go to the next website on Google.

Most law firm websites lack the key information being sought by Executives and General Counsels, and instead focus on unimportant information.

Hosted by National Law Marketing Speaker Larry Bodine, the webinar will feature Jeff Lantz, Esq., law firm Internet marketing author, Founder of Esquire Interactive, and former General Counsel and practicing lawyer. He will reveal the “high value” information that clients expect to see on your website, how to create messages directed to your clientele, and the “Golden Ticket” items that will help you connect with company executives and GC’s.

The LIVE WEBINAR will be held this Thursday, January 27, at the following time:

10 AM – 11:15 Pacific time
11 AM – 12:15 PM Mountain time
Noon – 1:15 PM Central time
1 PM – 2:15 PM Eastern time

All lawyers will benefit from with LIVE program, because your website is the most powerful marketing initiative — it’s online 24/7/365.

Want to reach more prospective clients searching for your firm’s sevices on Google?

Google Places is a separate feature that allows business owners to create a profile for their business which is then displayed in response to search queries related to the products or services provided by the business. In many searches, Google now places these “Google Places” listings before the usual search results. Google Places results are indicated by the text “Place Page” on the right hand side of the listing.

All indications are that Google will increase the use of Google Places listings. Google’s rationale is that when users search for “personal injury attorney”, they likely want to see information about local law firms, not a list of the best optimized law firm websites throughout the country.

Google Places listings include an image and allow greater visibility for the business or service provider. Because of the additional information and image, it is likely that prospective clients will be more inclined to click on these listings rather than “non- Google Places listings” that don’t include this information.

Contact us today at 800-915-2564 to learn more about Google Places and how to get greater visibility for your law firm.

Now that the kids are back in school, it’s time for us to review the ABC’s of Affective Internet Marketing.

A is for Attractive Website. Does your website look inviting to prospective clients? Does it contain messages that resonate with their needs? If you needed an attorney and were looking at your firm’s website, would you want to call someone at the firm?

B is for Be Seen on the First Page of Google. If prospective clients don’t see your website listed on the first page of Google, your firm won’t be considered. 64% of the time, users don’t go past the first page of the search results. Firms appearing on the first page of Google through non-paid ads (which are the result of search engine optimization, or “SEO”) and those that have paid ads (those at the top and on the right hand side of Google’s search results pages) receive the vast majority of clicks (and prospective clients), while firms not appearing on the first page are usually not seen (or considered) by prospective clients.

Cis for Conversion. Once prospective clients visit your firm’s website, are they taking the next step and calling you? If not, your website may need a more effective call to action. Remember the goal is not to simply get prospective to the firm’s website, but to have those prospective clients pick up the phone and call you today

If your firm needs a refresher course in the Internet ABC’s, no worries, we can help. Call us today. *Extra Credit for practicing the ABC’s – new clients and substantial additional revenue.

This is old-age question

Blogging is an easy way to keep clients up-to-date on trends and changes to the law, and to feature your expertise in a specific area of law. Additionally, blogging affords an opportunity to communicate to current and prospective clients in an informal manner. By demonstrating your ability to speak clearly to clients in language they can understand, you’ll alleviate potential communication concerns.

Because search engines (such as Google), favor websites that add fresh content in their ranking algorithm, blogging can also help lead to higher search engine rankings for your website. However, before starting a blog, you should commit to a schedule for adding entries. We recommend adding at least 2 entries a month (one every other week). Adhering to a schedule will ensure active communication with clients; while sporadic postings could be viewed negatively (raising questions as to why the blog was abandoned). By following an active blogging schedule, you can turn your blog into an effective marketing tool.

Experience the Freedom from high ongoing developer costs, and the benefits from the many social networking and other widgets that can be easily added to the WordPrESQ-theme developed for the WordPress platform.

Welcome to the Official WordPrESQ Theme Blog – Freedom of the PrESQ!

Like the notion of Freedom of the Press upon which our nation was founded, our WordPrESQ theme for the WordPress platform was founded on the following set of freedoms -

Freedom to be able to easily make website changes - new pages, navigational links, attorney profile pages, practice area pages, picture and slide-show presentation – all without costly developer help, and without having to know website coding.

Freedom from perpetual high license fees – why should you have to pay to have a website developed, and thereafter have to pay to use the system in perpetuity? You only charge a client once for legal work – why should you pay a development company to build your website up-front, and then keep paying them again every month?

Freedom from paying high development fees – with WordPress – there are several thousand widgets and applications that can be intergrated into the platform, most of which are free. You shouldn’t have to pay high developer costs to re-invent the wheel.

Freedom to Assemble (and to engage in Social Networking) – With our WordPrESQ theme, you can create a community based on Facebook Connect, create a Facebook business page and integrate a Fan Box to show other members of your firm, and use RSS feeds to send out the latest firm news.

We believe in educating law firms and attorneys about the many opportunities that are available using our WordPress attorney theme, WordPrESQ. We believe that the WordPress platform and our WordPrESQ theme offers attorneys and law firms one the most effective, lowest cost solutions.

POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
